Face-CA: Product Info | Specifications
The Tantec FACE CA series are advanced, simple to use ocular-based high precision contact angle meters. They allow users to make
highly repeatable, precise contact angle measurements for both applied and
basic research and for quality control of industrial processes. These
instruments can be used for evaluation of solid surface energy for
adhesion, determining the hydrophobic and hydrophilic nature of the
surface, surface cleanliness and liquid absorption rates. With the multitude
of options available including the ability to take contact angle measurements
under an expansive range of temperatures, measure advanced and receded
contact angles and liquid/liquid contact angles, the Tantec FACE CA series
will prove to be a versatile analytical or QC tool.
The members of the FACE CA series include:
CA-D Contact angle meter which uses the sessile drop technique
CA-DT Contact angle meter which uses the sessile drop technique with an available tilting stage for measuring recently advanced or receded angles
CA-S150 Surface
Cleanliness contact angle meter for silicon wafers
up to 8 inches in diameter as well as printed circuit
boards. An optional turntable specimen holder is also
available for simple QC measurements.
The FACE CA-DT Ocular Series of contact
angle meters feature:
Direct read out with the Half-Angle technique using a
precision optical lens for the highest possible
repeatability. This measurement technique eliminates a
source of error associated with defining the tangent at the
three phase interface line thereby giving you the
confidence in your results. Infrequent users will find this
method simple, straightforward and unambiguous.
Precision droplets formed via micrometer syringe for
high repeatability of measurements
Standard droplet included with the instrument for
confirming the accuracy of your measurements
Full complement of options for the researcher for maximum instrument flexibility including: camera
attachment, temperature controllers for heating /cooling of specimen, tilt platform for advancing
/receding angle measurements, surface free energy analysis software for further surface information
Standard CA-D, -DT (with tilt mechanism),-S150 Optical Manual Contact
Angle Meter includes the following:
Contact Angle Meter
spare lamp
5 glass syringes
5 stainless steel needles
level
spare fuse
dust cover (1) set of standard droplets for system checking.
