- 1. WHAT Z-INK IS ?

- The ink for ink-jet is normally water-soluble ink, which is the high-purified dye liquefied water over
15ml. Especially, Z-INK has a stable dot, which means a remarkable distinction of the printed
materials, and use a High-refined additives so as to prevent the corrosion and erosion of the nozzle.
2. ABOUT COLOR

- All the color used for the ink-jet is the combination of 4-colors, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black.
The most important thing for the color printing through the ink-jet is how closely approach to the
natural colors, but unfortunately the current dyes like the natural color, are nonexistent at present,
and also the color should be different according to the media used.
- Since each ink maker uses the different type of dye and additive, the color of each maker's ink
should be different. In addition, there might be some difference of the culture between the West
and East as to the colors. Namely, the West emphasizes on the light color, some kind of pastel tone,
otherwise the East done the kinds of red color and prefers to use the kinds of the distinct colors. So,
it may be said that Z-INK has been based on the dyes having the oriental coloring, and also made
considered the smooth control of the spray amount of each basic color so as express the color
combined free and easy.

- 3. ABOUT LIGHT-RESISTANCE

- In case of that, the printed materials should be exposed to the sun long time, the colors would get
faded, which is called
"Discoloration and Decolorization". The reasons but even the dye-base color ink added the UV
absorber, it can not
protevt discoloration completely comparing the pigment-base color ink, and our Z-INK is some
grade of sentinel VR-12
we can say.

- 4. LIFE OF CARTRIDGE FOR REFILLING Z-INK

- In order to use the cartridge refilling Z-INK, it is needed to clean the cartridge nozzle with the clean
paper or cloth and the
bottom part with the wet paper. (Over 20 times refillings for one cartridge, available) Also, the
quality of the ink for the
cartridge life is very important because the sediment and the other materials of the inferior ink
should block the nozzle.
In that point, our Z-INK can surely satisfy the above requirment of the high quality.

PIGMENT BASE
- 1.WHAT PIGMENT INK FOR INK-JET IS?

- The pigment ink is to be used for the ink-jet printer using the pigment for the colorant.
At present, most of the ink used for the ink-jet is the dye-base ink.
The dye ink is very convenient to use and has a good distinction of the color, meanwhile is weak
for the Light-resistance & water-resistance.
Especially the dye ink is not proper for printing the materials which is subject to be exposed to the
light outdoors. Even the current special type of dye ink containing the UV absorber is not
completely good enough for the light-resistance performance.
Accordingly, our company has developed Z-INK through the intensive R&D for the last two years
above so as to improve the above light-resistance performance.

- 2.HOW TO USE THE PIGMENT INK

- All the refill cartridge is available, such as Novajet plotter, H.P.
Design Jet plotter, and others.
You can use the pigment ink just like the dye ink, but it is not desirable to use for Desk Top printer.
- How to choose the good media
- Basically, most of the papers and cloth used for the printing with dye ink are available.
However, the non-coating paper, (Not desirable to use the glossy polymer coating paper, matt
paper), the special paper coated the absorbing materials and the kinds of film (YUPO Film) are
desirable for printing with pigment ink and also best media is the cloth such like a Canvas.
Namely, so as to make the best effectiveness of the features of the pigment ink, it is needed to use
the special media having the absorbing surface layer. The above special cloth or YUPO Film can be
also supplied by us. In case of using our pigment ink with the special media having the absorbing
surface layer, the printed ink will not be melted nor spread out in the water.
- About color Generally as the dye ink solution by water or solvent is very uniform, the color of dye is
also distinctive. Meanwhile the color of pigment should be decided by the chemical structure of the
pigment molecular and also the distinction of color is proportioned to the particle size of the
pigment. The particle size of pigment ink (Z-INK) is 0.5 m, wich is same size as the cigarette smoke.
Accordingly, even though it is true the color distinction of our pigment ink is little bit inferior to the
dye Base ink, but it suffers nothing by comparison with the dye base color ink.
In addition, the color will not be changed after the log-term storage since its good trchnical
performance for the dispersion and stable storage.
Especially, the color distinction of Z-INK is really similia to that of dye type ink and the water
resistence is Also excellent when you print it using the canvas cloth or YUPO Film.
- About Light-Resistance
- The pigment is superior to dye for the light-resistance and the physical, chemical variation is very
stable because of its stabilized chemical structure.
Good light-resistance means that the pigment ink (Z-INK) is very strong for the discoloration &
decolorization, and its character is very important for the adversiment materials outdoors.
The reasons of the discoloration and decolorization are mainly UV, temperature, and also chemical
factor, however the worst influential thing is the UV (Ultra Violet rays)
So as to escape from the discoloration and decolorization by UV, the following steps are needed.
- To print the advertisement materials outdoors using the pigment ink (Z-INK)
- To use the media of YUPO Film coated the silica, canvas, cloth for the pigment (Z-INK) printing.
- To spray the UV screener (stabilizer, absorber) on the printed material.
- To coat the vinyl film, lacquer, or urethane on the printed materials by sprayer for the last time.
- Generally, provided that the above conditions could be considered enough, the advertisement
materials ourdoors should be not discolored for over one year.
