Features and specifications
  - Speed And Velocity:
    Standard 800 rpm (405 ft/min), optional ten turn variable speed control from 60 to 3400 rpm,
    with built-in digital speed indicator.
 
Load:
    - Pneumatic system applies load through 10:1 lever system with dead weights.
      Hanger and weights supplied. 1 lb to 114 lb. total.
 
Maximum Test Pressure:
Timken test block pressure (.022 in. scar width): 92,300 psi.
Temperature Control:
    Controlled system for recirculating fluid with digital temperature controller.
Environments:  Wet or dry.
Cooling System  :  Oil reservoir cooling coils uses lab tap water to cool test oil.
Motion :  Unidirectional.
Wear :  Measurement of scar width at specified load.
Coefficient of Friction : Calculable with equations supplied. Includes friction hanger and weights.
Motor:  Standard 2 HP single speed, 220 volts, single phase. Optional 2 HP DC variable drive, 220 Volts,
                single phase.
Automatic Grease Feeder:
    Electro/mechanical system to feed at 45 ±9 grams per minute.
    Electrically disarms test fluid recirculating pump motor.
 
Fluid Recirculating System:
 
Approximately 3 litre reservoir with heater, oil pump and control valve.
    Control valve stops flow of lubricant automatically within three seconds of pump stopping.
Automatic Loading Device :
Pneumatically operated system to lower test weights at controlled rate of 2 to 3 lbs/sec.
Cabinetry :
    Heavy construction steel with electro/mechanical compartment, weight storage area,
    accessory draw and instrumentation panel.
