Release Ray-Ran have launched a brand new Static & Dynamic Friction Tester. The new apparatus has been designed to conform to all International Test Standards for friction testing. Ray-Ran?s well proven philosophy on microprocessor integration has taken friction measurement accuracy to new levels. The reproducibility of measurements of both static and dynamic friction over a wide range of materials is extremely accurate. The apparatus is supplied complete with built-in printer for hard copy results, RS232 output and a software program run in Windows. Both tabular and graphic presentation of results is given, along with a store and edit facility. The machine?s operation is ergonomically simple. Parameters and results are displayed in the large easy to read LCD. Data entry is via a simple touch keypad. The test procedure is self-prompting direct from the microprocessor. A temperature controlled bed version is available as well as a freezer bed unit. Full calibration fixtures are included. A facility for conducting peel testing to International Test Standards such as ASTM D3330M 180° peel can be provided. |
