 EO gas sterilizer

HS-700EO

 | Feature |

Sterilization with gaseous agents serves as a complement to steam sterilization systems used for sterilizing medical devices and materials unsuitable for steam sterilization, due to their vulnerability to high temperature and moisture. Currently, it is recognized as the sole sterilization system which can replace steam sterilization. It is indispensable equipment for hospitals and research institutes doing research where microorganisms present a contamination problem.

 1. CONTROL SYSTEM

The Control System with a built-in microprocessor, controls process of the cycle, the displaying of a large 5" LCD showing the operating conditions of the sterilizer, the self-diagnosis which detects abnormality and takes necessary actions and the printer which printing out the cycle performance records automatically.

 2. CYCLE PROGRAMS

Three(3) kinds of gas mixture can be used: gas mixture with two(2)kinds of Freon and a carbon dioxide(CO2). Evidently, the range of mixture options are diverse. The sterilizer has built-in four Basic Cycles in which the high temperature(56¡É) and the low temperature(38¡É)can be selected, one Test Cycle and User Cycle.

- The Basic Cycle is a program generally used for most materials to be sterilized.
- The Test Cycle is a vacuum leak test for airtightness of chamber.
- The User Cycle can be used and the program saved by changing the temperature, pressure, sterilization time and aeration time at the user's
discretion.

 3. SELF-DIAGNOSIS

In case of a power failure during operation, the cycle is stopped at that point. If the power supply is then restored, the remainder of the cycle will resume until completion. What makes this possible is the controller which can retain the cycle's data until the cycle is resumed. The continuity of the running cycle is, therefore, not lost during the power failure. This is a great advantage.

 5. DISPLAY

If you on the <POWER> switch, the large 5" LCD will display the temperature, sterilizing time, aeration time and pressure settings of the selected cycle as well as the water level in the reservoir and door lock. Once the cycle is started, the LCD displays the remaining sterilization time, actual temperature and pressure.

 6. CHAMBER DOOR

The radial locking- arm type chamber door is strong airtight. It is specially equipped with a safety device that keeps the door from opening if the power is cutoff. Even if the power supply fails during a cycle, gas leakage is prevented since the door cannot be opened.

 7. GAS SUPPLY

Two(2) gas cylinders with parallel are connected to the sterilizer for gas supply. If one gas cylinder is exhausted, the gas source is exchanged to the another cylinder automatically. The change of a cylinder is operated by the embedded program.

 8. VACUUM PUMP

The vacuum pump, compact type with diaphragms, has a strong exhaustion force, a complete oilless operation, a durability, an airtightness and a low noise.

 9. AIR FILTER

There is bacteria-retentive air filter which can 99.97 percent of 0.3 micrometer particles. If filters outside air supplied into the chamber during the vent and aeration phase. This is to prevent sterilized items from being recontaminated by bacteria in the air.

 10. PRINTER

It prints a cycle performance record which reviews, analyzes and saves sterilization results related to management. This document includes sterilizer number, date and year, setting value(sterilization temperature, condition temperature, exposure time, and drying time), performance data of each phase(start and finish time, temperature and pressure), maximum/minimum temperature and pressure, elapse time of each phases, acceptance or unacceptance of the cycle and other data (cycle time, cycle number, error codes, power failure/recovery time).

 ¡á EO GAS MONITOR

The sterilizer equipped the gas monitor with resolution of 0.1ppm and measuring range of 0¡100ppm to detect and to alarm the EO gas in the work area.
